Kenya is firming up plans for a power plant to act as the main customer of the East African country’s maiden LNG import terminal. The regasification project itself has seen its schedule slip, however.
A feasibility study into a new 300 to 500-megawatt gas-fired power station to be built next to the terminal is “almost coming to an end”, said a government source.
