GDF Suez executive vice president of global gas and LNG Jean-Marie Dauger has confirmed the company has delayed a decision on the future of its Fos Tonkin import terminal in France.
“In two years we will need to decide on whether we go on or we stop,” Dauger told LNG Unlimited at the World Gas Conference in Malaysia.
Terminal operating-arm Elengy stated previously it would extend the plant’s life to 2035 but Dauger said the company has “entered into a solution where the case is still open”.
