Petronas Gas has tapped Fluor to provide front-end engineering and design services for a regasification terminal in Sabah, eastern Malaysia.
The subsidiary of Malaysia’s state owned oil and gas giant Petronas is developing the project to supply gas to an adjacent 300-megawatt combined cycle power plant in the town of Lahad Datu.
Fluor said it will be calling on local subcontractors and suppliers for different parts of the project.
