Talks between Flex LNG and Samsung Heavy Industries over how to proceed with an order for what was originally planned as a floating production vessel (above) appear to have stalled.
SHI is understood to have received offers from parties interested in taking over the slot for the FLNG unit that Flex was due to build.
Contractually the yard is believed to be in a position where it could impose a decision but officials are said to be waiting for Flex to indicate how it wants to move forward.
