Lithuania’s Klaipedos Nafta has tied up an initial send-out deal covering the first gas volumes at its planned LNG terminal, with more set to follow.
The developer has signed an early agreement with energy company Lietuvos Energija for off-take from the plant, which is expected to kick off operations by end-2014 at Klaipeda Port.
A final deal with Lietuvos is set to be signed at the end of 2012.
