Klaipedos Nafta’s shareholders have approved a charter agreement with Hoegh LNG for Lithuania’s maiden import terminal.
The move firms up the 10-year lease deal, which was executed earlier this month.
Norwegian regasification specialist Hoegh LNG will provide Klaipedos with a 170,000-cbm floating storage and regasification unit to be located in the Port of Klaipeda.
Hoegh previously said the charter would contribute about $50 million a year to pre-tax earnings.
