Falconara LNG’s developer has received the go-ahead at last for the construction and operation of its regasification terminal on Italy’s eastern seaboard.
A formal inter-ministerial decree authorising the project has been issued to Api Nova Energia.
The company has been forced to play a waiting game on the permit since July after the 4 billion cubic metres per annum terminal received the go-ahead at a ‘conference of services’.
