Excelerate Energy plans to kick off construction of a floating LNG import project for Puerto Rico in July.
The company firmed up a deal in December with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority to provide a floating storage and regasification unit off the Caribbean nation.
The US-based floating regas specialist hopes to bring the project into operation in the third quarter of 2014.
