Customers have shown strong interest in transmission capacity on a proposed pipeline set to connect Dunkirk’s LNG import terminal with Belgium.
Belgian and French transmission system operators Fluxys and GRTgaz said they have received binding commitments totalling more than 807,522 cubic metres per hour for a 20-year period.
The new pipeline will enable the market to move an additional 8 billion cubic metres of natural gas from France into the Belgian system.
