Estonia’s Port of Tallinn and electricity transmission system operator Elering have forged a deal to develop an LNG import terminal in Muuga.
The partners will work together to kick off the planning process and complete an environmental impact assessment and feasibility study into the project.
A report from energy consultancy Poyry, released last week, pushed the companies to make the call on the terminal.
