Argentine state energy outfit Enarsa has taken complete control of two floating LNG import terminals following the government’s shock decision to nationalise Repsol-controlled YPF earlier this month.
YPF has been ousted from the Bahia Blanca GasPort in the south and GNL Escobar (pictured) in the north, which both use regasification vessels controlled by Excelerate Energy.
Enarsa will now be solely responsible for footing the charter-hire bill for the ships.
