El Paso has unveiled a second bid for a slice of the US liquefaction pie, lifting total export licence applications to countries that hold a free trade agreement to 17.32 billion cubic feet per day.
The company’s Southern LNG offshoot, which operates the Elba Island import terminal in Savannah, Georgia, is seeking permission to ship out up to 4 million tonnes per annum.
