Attackers have blown up the pipeline carrying gas from Egypt to Israel and Jordan again, adding further credence to LNG import plans.
The latest blast marks the sixth attack on the pipeline since the uprising in Egypt in February, which prompted Israel to fast-track plans for a regasification terminal due to its reliance on the country for 40% of its gas supply.
