Indian Oil Corporation has received 10 to 12 bids from international consultancies wishing to take on a market study for an east coast LNG terminal.
A winner is expected to be chosen and a contract signed within two weeks.
Indian Oil is eyeing development of a 5 million tonnes per annum facility at Paradip Port, Orissa state, where it is building a major crude oil refinery.
