BW Gas and InterEnergy Holdings have formed a joint venture to build a new LNG terminal on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.
The gas shipping company and local power sector investment vehicle InterEnergy plan to set up a facility in San Pedro de Macoris.
The partners expect total investment in the project to surpass $350 million.
They hope to have completed the terminal by 2014.
