Kunlun Energy’s delayed Dalian LNG terminal is slated to receive its first commissioning cargo next month, according to sources.
The 3 million tonnes per annum facility in China’s north-east Liaoning province was unable to start cool-down operations as planned in June because of delays in building its send-out pipeline.
The company was in dispute with the local government over the level of compensation for displaced residents along the pipe route.
