Norwegian producer Skangass LNG has become a receiving terminal operator after its import facility in Fredrikstad opened for business.
“It’s on time and on budget,” said chief executive Bjorn Torkildsen.
The launch of the terminal to the south-east of Oslo means the company, which until recently traded under the name of its former marketing arm Nordic LNG, has completed its full package of import and export construction that began in 2007.
