Gujarat State Petronet Ltd is set to award a contract next month to a consultancy that will carry out a detailed feasibility study into an LNG import terminal on India’s west coast.
The state government-owned spin-off of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation received as many as 11 bids for the job in a tender that closed on Tuesday. GSPL is looking to build a 5 million tonnes per annum regasification facility at Sikka in Gujarat.
