Shell is poised to supply the commissioning cargo to PetroChina’s maiden LNG import terminal in Jiangsu province.
The 3.5 million tonnes per annum facility in Rudong is due to receive the shipment in mid-April.
Consultants said PetroChina is also in the process of trying to nail down a second cargo for the plant.
