Chilean electricity generator Colbun is planning a floating storage and regasification terminal to service its gas needs.
A source close to the project said the plans are currently covered by strict confidentiality agreements, but noted that the unit is definitely going ahead.
“Colbun has a process for an FSRU terminal in Chile, but it is private for now,” he said.
Details are expected to emerge shortly.
