Environmental regulators have approved two LNG import proposals by CNOOC Gas & Power for Guangdong province.
The Shenzhen LNG and Yuedong LNG projects now await approval from the National Development and Reform Commission, according to media reports.
CNOOC Gas & Power, the China National Offshore Oil Corporation subsidiary that is the country’s largest terminal operator, is planning to build a 4 million tonnes per annum facility at Shenzhen.
