The Chita LNG terminal in Japan has received its 3000th cargo.

The 215,000-cbm Q-Flex Al Gharrafa (built 2008) delivered the Qatari volumes over the weekend, utility Chubu Electric Power Company said.

The terminal, which is jointly owned by Chubu and compatriot Toho Gas, has received 172 million tonnes of LNG since it opened for operations in September 1977.
