CNOOC Energy and Technology Services (CETS) plans to go to market with a tender for two small LNG carriers in June, writes Xu Yihe.
China National Offshore Oil Corporation’s LNG subsidiary will invite selected domestic yards to construct the 30,000-cbm duo, sources said.
Each vessel is expected to cost 500 million yuan ($80 million) to build. Construction is scheduled to start at the year-end.
