Lithuania’s Klaipeda Nafta has floated a tender for the construction of embankments at Klaipeda port for its LNG import terminal project.
The exercise was launched following an agreement earlier this month between the developer and the port authority over financing of the installation of the embankments and other project infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Lithuanian construction companies Alvora, Kaunas and Siauliai have been contracted to build the terminal’s send-out pipeline between Taurage and Klaipeda, with the work set to take 20 months.
