Israel has homed in on an LNG supplier for its maiden import terminal, with BP thought to have snagged the initial deal.
State-owned Israel Electric Corporation is in charge of sourcing volumes for the upcoming regasification project and finalising the charter of the floating storage and regasification unit.
The company said it has chosen its preliminary supplier and is in the process of concluding a contract.
