Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s board is said to have cleared the way for a preliminary deal on LNG cooperation in India with Mitsui and Company of Japan.
The memorandum of understanding, if formally signed, will put forward plans to work together on a regasification terminal in Mangalore or any other mutually identified locations, according to The Hindu newspaper.
The deal would also cover marketing of regasified volumes.
