BG rethinks Brindisi LNG project

BG Group is reassessing its Brindisi LNG project in Italyafter years of delays.

The UK-headquartered gas giant has closed its office inBrindisi, moving project planning to Milan.

“There’s been stagnation and lack of progress due to therestrictive and bureaucratic hurdles we have had to go through,” said a BGspokesman.

Last month, LNG Unlimited reported the project was in a holding patternahead of a key stakeholders meeting.
