The Bangladesh Power Development Board has pushed back bidding for a second time on a combined LNG terminal and power plant.
Proposals to build and operate the project are now due in on 9 February, a month later than the previous schedule. Bidders are understood to have requested the change.
The government agency is aiming to award a build-own-operate contract with a power purchase agreement for a 200 to 850-megawatt combined cycle power plant at Chittagong.
