A 33-year-old LNG carrier will have to make a second attempt at an LNG loading at the Zeebrugge terminal after bad weather interrupted its first go.

High wind speeds prevented Distrigas’ 131,235-cbm Methania (built 1978) from entering the port area on time at the site in Belgium last week.

The LNG carrier then lost most of its allocated slot and so could only make a partial load after the wind died down and it was able to enter the port.
