Alaska’s three largest natural gas producers have formally agreed to study exporting LNG from the North Slope to Asia-Pacific markets.
After months of talks, US supermajors ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips and UK counterpart BP have reached an agreement to develop North Slope gas.
They will also work with pipeline operator TransCanada to support the Alaska Pipeline Project.
