A PTT official has rubbished reports that the Thai energy company has nixed a supply deal with Qatar.
The company’s vice president for LNG Supply, Terdkiat Prommool, said negotiations continue with Qatargas for a long-term supply agreement.
“There is no cancellation," he told Reuters.
Earlier this month, PTT executives said the company canned a never-finalised deal to purchase 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG from Qatargas to feed its new Map Ta Phut LNG receiving facility in Rayong province.
