Uncertainty has deepened in India’s domestic gas supplypicture, supporting high utlisation in the country’s LNG terminals and addingconfidence for long-term dealmaking.
Reliance Industries recently told regulators that it expectsthe KG D6 gas field to produce less than 28 million cubic metres per day nextyear and nearly 23 MMcmd in the following year, analysts said.
Production stood at roughly 35 MMcmd at the end of 2011compared with 48 MMcmd slightly more than a year earlier.
