Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has confirmed an order for an LNG carrier newbuilding.
The Greek shipowner has contracted a tri-fuel vessel with a major South Korean yard for 2015 delivery. It is also sitting on an option for a second ship.
TEN revealed last month that it had signed a letter of intent with Hyundai Heavy Industries on one plus one optional 160,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuilding.
