Tsakos Energy Navigation has firmed an order for an LNG carrier newbuilding at a South Korean shipyard.
The Greek shipowner said the deal comes with an option for one more unit.
TEN did not give a price tag or name the yard involved. LNG Unlimited and sister newspaper TradeWinds have previously reported that the company had signed a letter of intent for the LNG carrier order at South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries.
