New York-listed shipowner Teekay LNG is still looking for LNG carrier acquisitions after its purchase of the Maersk fleet.
“We expect to remain active in our assessment of near-term acquisition opportunities while continuing to bid on new long-term gas projects,” said chief executive Peter Evensen.
He tied the stance to strong fundamentals that are driving up shipping rates, as well as the positive outlook for the supply and demand of LNG.
