The 41,000-cbm LNG Elba (built 1970) has been confirmed sent for demolition in Turkey.
The vessel follows its sistership, the LNG Palmaria (built 1969), which was reported sold for scrap in March. The ships were controlled by Eni’s transport arm LNG Shipping.
