Shipping Corporation of India has won a three-year contract to handle LNG vessel operations at the newly opened Dabhol import terminal.

The facility’s developer Ratnagiri Gas and Power, a joint venture between NTPC and Gail (India), will handle the cargo side of shipments.

State-owned SCI, which has part shares in two existing LNG carriers currently serving Petronet’s Dahej terminal, has already begun vessel handling work at the Dabhol plant.
