Data from large-scale LNG fire tests over water, simulating what would happen if a vessel’s cargo tanks were breached, could be made public next month.
The US Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy is expected to pass a report on the results to Congress in May, industry sources said, after studying the data for the past four months.
The document is based on eight different technical studies compiled by US-based Sandia National Laboratories.
