Excelerate Energy has sent out a message to its LNG regasification competitors by pencilling slots for a huge haul of eight floating storage and regasification units at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The company said this week that the slots are for 173,400-cbm FSRUs for delivery dates between early 2015 and the start of 2017. The 294-metre long, 46-metre wide units will be capable of a base-load send-out of 800 million cubic feet per day with capacity peaking at in excess of 950 MMcfd.
