Fjord Lines has amended its order for two new cruise ferries to see them operate solely on LNG.
The outfit had ordered dual-fuel oil and natural gas fired ships at Bergen Group Fosen but changed its mind in order to meet environmental regulations.
“In this way Fjord Line will meet the new, stricter standards for sulphur content in fuels long before the deadline in 2015," said Fjord Line chief executive Ingvald Fardal.
