RWE has put Germany’s Wilhelmshaven GasPort project on ice due to a lack of pipeline capacity.
The company has completed a detailed feasibility study into the proposed floating import terminal, a source with knowledge of the scheme said. The effort to have the regasification project sanction-ready this year has been dashed, however, after a pipeline expansion that was to be carried out by Gasunie was shelved.
