PetroBangla has asked four pre-qualified parties to put in bids for a floating regasification terminal.
The contenders include a pairing of Excelerate Energy and Astra Oil, Golar LNG, Samsung C&T and India’s Hiranandani Private Company, which is understood to be working in partnership with Hoegh LNG, sources said.
The state-run Bangladeshi energy company is seeking bids on the provision of a 500 million cubic feet per day floating storage and regasification unit, subsea connections and moorings.
