The Pertamina-led Nusantara Regas project in West Java has secured short-term financing from Indonesia's Bank Mandiri.

The one-year loan will provide $100 million to the project, the Jakarta Globe reports.

Shipowner Golar LNG is converting the floating storage and regasification unit FSRU Nusantara Regas Satu for Pertamina and gas utility Perusahaan Gas Negara for the West Java imports project, Indonesia's first regas terminal.

However, the project, originally slated to begin operations early this year, has suffered months of delays as a result of problems during conversion.
