The first spot shipment of LNG to be exported from Norway to Japan since 2008 is en route to the Oita receiving terminal in the south west of the country.
A 140,000 cubic metre cargo loaded onto the 143,000-cbm Arctic Discoverer (built 2006) at Statoil’s Snohvit LNG facility in Hammerfest is due to arrive at the terminal on 10 September, according to Reuters.
