Pertamina and electric utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara have joined forces to develop a series of mini-LNG terminals to supply the latter with gas in eastern Indonesia.
The joint venture builds on an earlier agreement to work together on the terminals and an associated transportation network.
A joint working group has now been established to develop the project in stages. It will conduct a series of studies into the technical, legal and commercial aspects.
