Around nine parties have submittedcommercial offers to supply three LNG carriers for the Ichthys LNG project.
The picture of exactly which companies arebidding is slightly confused after some paired with each other following thepre-qualification process. The line-up is said to include Japan’s three bigshipowners Mitsui OSK Lines, NYK and K Line, as well as MISC of Malaysia and SKShipping, which is offering in partnership with Marubeni.
