IBIA in LNG bunkering pledge

The International Bunker Industry Association’s board has taken a formal decision to get on board with LNG developments.

IBIA will “become more closely engaged in LNG matters”, its acting chief executive Trevor Harrison announced at the IBIA’s annual convention in Barcelona last week.

Harrison added that the IBIA will become more involved in the ongoing discussions with the International Maritime Organisation about using LNG as a fuel for ships.
