- Cheniere’s plans to build liquefaction trains at its Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana cleared a key regulatory hurdle last week when the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued an environmental assessment. “The FERC staff concludes that approval of the proposed project, with appropriate mitigation measures, would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment,” the agency said.
