Hoegh LNG has firmed up its charter agreement on a floating storage and regasification unit for Klaipedos Nafta’s planned import terminal in Lithuania.



The Norwegian company has signed a 10-year time-charter with Klaipedos, which is subject to shareholder approval at the largely state-owned operator.



Hoegh said the charter would contribute about $50 million a year to pre-tax earnings. Klaipedos Nafta said the rate on the unit will not exceed $156,200 per day.
