Norway’s Hoegh LNG and Perusahaan Gas Negara of Indonesia have firmed up a 20-year charter for the Medan LNG floating storage and regasification unit.
The deal could bring in Hoegh a total of $1.4 billion in cash earnings.
Oslo-listed Hoegh will supply a newbuilding under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea as well as a mooring system for the import terminal.
